Have you ever had a dream? Jude was 13 when she picked up her first romance novel. It captivated and inspired her to write her first romance story. Five years later, she wrote her first romance novel. Still an avid reader and enjoys anything from romances to horror and science-fiction/fantasy, her own books have pretty much the same range. For two decades now, Jude has dreamt of becoming a published author. Well, that dream only became a reality after spending her own money to self-publish her first two books. You can read about them by visiting Jude's Place. Her third book, Tomorrow's Past, though still self-published, didn't cost her anything through Xlibris.com. Of course, it's not free anymore, since they now charge for their core service. Jude is also happy to report that her fourth book, Texas Moonshine, has been published and is available. It is the sequel to her second novel, Mexican Sunsets. Her first novel, Formerly Brandewyne is currently being offered for free to read online (or you can get the paperback for just the cost of shipping!) by visiting her forum as well as several of her earlier stories. Please note that you must join the forum to read any of those stories -- but it's easy and free!) Jude was also inspired to write her first fanfiction, which led to several more. The first two are based on the character of Legolas from Lord of the Rings and the others were inspired by his next movies, so be sure to check those out at her Orlando Bloom page!

In April of 2006 Jude created a forum on her site. She posts most of her unpublished and published works on the forum. Members can read these depending on their access level (see Group Levels), which can be increased the more they post. She also offers upgrade packages for those that do not like posting. Please visit the forum to learn more!

Jude's major writing achievement is the A Modern Myth saga. She just finished writing the 4th installment, which was published by Cobblestone Press. She's really excited about these stories. Click on link if you'd like to read a sample chapter from the trilogy, Nada's Secret, Grady's Return and Drew's Destiny.(which are for sale through lulu.com).

Her next dream is a little bigger and will probably take another 20 years. She has named her website Jude's Place for a reason. That will be the name of her future hotel/dinner theater. Quite an undertaking, but she feels she will be ready for it by that time. In the meantime she is always working on another book (just finished writing Faith's Portrait) and can usually be seen on her forum several times a day! If you'd like to learn more about her, feel free to visit and join! It's free!
