Gone But Not Forgotten

To date this novel took Jude the longest amount of time to write! She started it in 1996 while she was attending the local university. She wasn't very good at backing up her computer in those days and one night, lightning struck the phone lines and destroyed her hard drive. Everything that hadn't been backed up was gone. Unfortunately, that meant over half of Gone But Not Forgotten. Ironic title, isn't it? She never did forget about this story but didn't have the heart to go back to it, having felt the inspiration was gone forever.

Having gone through 2 years of writer's block, she decided to try to get the story finished in 2006. She posted it in chapters on her forum and was luckily inspired once again. She feels that it is much better than it had originally been meant to be, so I guess you could say it was a good thing that lightning bolt hit!

And starting in the summer of 2007 Jude is revisiting this story and has started a prequel, which will detail all the events that transpired that led up to this novel. The prequel is available to all Bibliophiles, and its name is Passion's Price.
