One of my favorite authors

I thoroughly enjoy Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of PERN series. My mom got me hooked on them when I was about 12 and I've been reading them ever since. At first I was drawn to the imagery of these beautiful dragons, but as I continued reading, I also came to love the characters and how they all interact with one another. Since she's spanned from the beginning of settling on PERN up to the Present Pass, it's so interesting to see how things changed in the world.
