Welcome!
Have you ever had a dream? I was 13 when I read and 18 when I
wrote my first romance novel. I'm still an avid reader and enjoy anything from romances
to horror and science-fiction/fantasy, and my own books have pretty much the same
range. For over two decades now, I have dreamt of becoming a published
author. Well, that dream only became a reality after I spent my own money to self-publish
my first two books. You can read about them by clicking on the "Home" link or hit
"back" on your browser. My third book, Tomorrow's Past,
though still self-published, didn't cost me
anything through Xlibris.com. Of course,
it's not free anymore, since they now charge for their core service. I am also happy
to report that my fourth book (Texas Moonshine)
has been published and is available. It is the sequel to my second novel,
Mexican Sunsets. My first novel, Formerly Brandewyne
is currently being offered for free to read online (or you can get the paperback for just the cost
of shipping!) on my forum. I was also inspired to write my
first fanfiction back in 2003,
which led to several more. The first one is based on the character of Legolas from
Lord of the Rings and the others were
inspired by his next movies, so be sure
to check those out at my Orlando
Bloom page! You can read them all on the forum.
My next project in the
works is my first trilogy. I have finished writing the third story and am now
editing all three. I'm really excited about these stories which I have given the title
of A Modern Myth. Click on link if you'd like
to read a sample chapter from the first installment, Nada's Secret
(which is for sale through lulu.com).
The second installment, Grady's Return is also available
through lulu.com.
I have just published my 7th book, Faith's
Portrait, which is a time travel romance to the past.
That can be purchased through lulu.com
or by posting on the forum. I am also currently writing
another story exclusively for members of the forum,
where I have many other member only reads.
My next dream is a little bigger and will probably take another 20 years.
I have named my website Jude's Place for a reason. That will be the name of
my future hotel/dinner theater. Quite an undertaking, I know, but I feel I will be
ready for it by that time. As a side note (and it's kind of humorous), I guess
my idea isn't as original as I thought it was! Check out New
Zealand's
seaside accommodation!
In the meantime I am always working on another book and am
considering publishing a collection of my shorter stories. In addition I have decided
to help out other writers that need a place to post their work (published or not), so
email me with a sample of your writing, and I'll create a page for it. Then you just
tell people where they can go (my site) to read it! Win-win for us both. I
have recently added a page for a special woman who is overcoming a
serious problem. To read more, click here.
Thanks for
visiting and come back again! I'll post updates as often as I can. Feel free to email
with questions and/or use the following paypal link for donations if you're
feeling generous (since self-publishing and running a website isn't cheap :). If
you donate at least $5, I'll send you the links to two free ebooks:
Natural Cures & Website Marketing. I used the marketing
ebook to get Jude's Place from a 1 to 4 Google page rank!! If
you have a website, that's a must! If you'd like to get a free
search engine optimization ebook right now, click
here.
Take care of yourselves and wish me luck!Jude Liebermann
