Good news! I finally finished writing the first draft of Maple Creek. It's so long that I've decided to split it into two parts. The first part will be free, and the 2nd part will be listed at $3.99. I'm playing with what to call the 2nd installment. The first one is "A Camp for Gifted Teenagers", and I'm thinking the 2nd one will be either "A Camp for Gods and Monsters" or simply "A Camp for Gods...or Monsters?" I'm actually leaning towards the latter.
Hard to believe it's already September. I'm still working on Maple Creek. It's almost 75K words. As I write, I keep coming up with different ideas, so it's getting longer than i initially planned. I'm considering cutting it in half and giving the first part away for free. Not sure yet, and it will depend on how long the finished book is. It's definitely evolved from the original story, and I want to make sure all loose ends have been tied. I'm going through the book now to find those loose ends and will then begin working on the final act. Stay tuned.

Publishing my first YA book, Maple Creek, a Camp for Gifted Teenagers has been a bit delayed. It's taking me longer to wrte than I thought it would and i was sick for half of January, which didn't help. I'm back at it and getting close to the final climax. It's currently about 57K words and will be at least 60K by the time it's finished. I will make a new post once it's published.
